From The Shadows: Nova's Love
He turned his bare feet to a bright molten form to slow his pursuers best he could, laying fire on the ground. As he reached the edge the Shadows around saw him getting close to touching it, and they knew it would shock him and leave him pained from the power it held, but in the hasty escape Irwin was carrying out, he pushed himself knowing the ASI did not work on him the same way it worked on the others, besides, at that moment his body still held Shadow Inhibitor in its liquid form. With his hand before him Irwin pushed himself through the shield and out into freedom, then he ran with all his might. He tried to imagine the reaction of the other Shadows as to seeing him pass through it in wonder, but he dismissed it and ran.
That's 24 hours of work for you! Lineless, lots of little details, done in both Photoshop and Sai. I'm very proud of his left hand. the lazy background not so much. Full View Please!
This would be my fourth book's description of my brother as a fourteen-year-old. In the scene above, soon after, the character version nearly dies laying on the side of the road, whereas in real life in the February we were fourteen he had one of the worst attacks he's had yet. And no, when Irwin was fourteen he did not have his hair that short, this is just the character version. Also this character is capable of turning any part of his body into magma, just like my brother!

Wow, looks pretty cool, I like the magma effect, trying to escape from some malicious- looking portal. Your art is looking better now, the lines becoming more smooth and the expressions as well
